My latest pattern is here.
Introducing the Wine Country Hat. This hat was inspired by the travelling vine lace pattern that I used in my Wine Country Pullover. I loved it so much on the sweater I knew I wanted to create a hat with it too.
Ontario, Canada, is home to multiple award-winning and world-renowned wine regions. Two of my favourite places to visit are Niagara-on-the-lake and Prince Edward County - both known for their exceptional wines and scenic views. The Wine Country Hat is a celebration of all things wine country! This hat features an elegant travelling vine lace stitch representing the grapevines that grow in these regions and produce gallons of delicious wines each year. Knit in soft superwash merino wool, this hat will be comfortable and cozy during the transitional seasons, with the lace adding a touch of refinement to your outerwear. The sample yarn stretched a lot upon blocking, which helps to create a slouchy fit of the fabric. Your swatch should be measured to check the gauge both unblocked and blocked.
Sizes available: One size fits most (but options for size adjustment available).
Recommended yarn: Knit Picks Swish Worsted (sample in colourway Bordeaux) or similar worsted weight yarn.
